Zone Two leaders FC AshantiGold were held to a 1–1 draw away to newly promoted Ebony FC at the Mohammed Kamil Arena in Offinso. Gideon Eshun opened the scoring for the visitors in the 19th minute with a well-taken finish, before Eric Adu Gyamfi equalized for Ebony FC five minutes past the hour mark.
The draw extends FC AshantiGold's unbeaten run but represents two points dropped in their quest for promotion. The Miners remain top of Zone Two and will be looking to return to winning ways in their next fixture.
Mid-table New Edubiase United ended their four-game winless run with an impressive 3–0 victory over bottom-placed King Faisal at the Len Clay Sports Stadium. Bernard Kokonu scored a delightful goal in the 41st minute to give the hosts a halftime lead. After the break, Isaac Mensah and Julius Ziggy converted penalty kicks in the 61st and 64th minutes respectively.
Sekondi Rospak SC recorded their second away win of the season with a 3-1 triumph over Elmina Sharks at the Nduom Sports Complex. Sekondi Rospak SC are currently fourth in the Zone Two league table with 11 points.
