Three clubs — Port City FC, FC AshantiGold '04, and Debibi United — have qualified for the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League as the newly promoted sides from the Access Bank Division One League.
Port City FC claimed the Zone Three title to secure their maiden promotion to the top flight. In Zone Two, FC AshantiGold dominated from start to finish, clinching the championship with three games to spare after a 4-1 thrashing of Skyy FC on Matchday 27.
In Zone One, Debibi United earned their promotion through the playoff route, defeating Tamale City 3-1 in the decisive fixture to book their spot in the Ghana Premier League for the first time in the club's history.
All three clubs will be making their debut in the Ghana Premier League when the 2026/27 season kicks off on September 18, 2026, replacing the three relegated sides from the current GPL campaign.
The promotion represents a historic achievement for all three clubs, with each bringing unique stories of perseverance and ambition to Ghana's top flight.
