FC AshantiGold '04 will be crowned Division One League Zone Two champions at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Saturday, May 17, 2026, when they host Kumasi King Faisal FC in the final game of the 2025/26 season.
The coronation match caps a dominant campaign for the Miners, who clinched the title and promotion to the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League with three games to spare after a 4-1 demolition of Skyy FC on Matchday 27.
GFA dignitaries are expected to be in attendance as the Obuasi-based club celebrate their historic achievement. The match also marks the final act of a season in which FC AshantiGold led the Zone Two table from start to finish under head coach Abdul Karim Zito.
FC AshantiGold join fellow newly promoted sides Port City FC (Zone Three winners) and Debibi United (Zone One playoff winners, who beat Tamale City 3-1) as the three debutants entering the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League.
The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is scheduled to kick off on September 18, 2026.
